That our opinion can be upheld in parliament.
A Member can represent the views of their constituents, or their private views, by:
- presenting a petition,
- preparing a submission to a committee,
- drafting a Private Members Bill,
- speaking during adjournment or grievance debates
- or speaking with a relevant minister
